Different types of paper have different toughness, smoothness and aesthetics. KRAFT PAPER

It is made of softwood sulphate, which is thicker and usually yellowish-brown, in addition to light brown, cream or white. The thickness is between 80g and 120g. Kraft paper has a high tensile force, such as single light, double light, stripes, and no grain. Natural kraft is the strongest of all paper and is commonly used for bags and wrapping. It is also used to pack flour, sugar, and dried fruits

and vegetables.

WAX PAPER

Wax paper packaging mimics nature’s system for protecting leaves by covering them with a thin layer of waxy material to prevent them from drying out. Biodegradable, compostable, pleasant to touch, and cost-effective, wax paper is increasingly produced using wholly-sustainable, renewable resources -- from wood pulp and vegetable oils -- enabling suppliers to deliver a variety of food products both efficiently and attractively and additionally satisfying environmental concerns.

GREASEPROOF PAPER

Greaseproof paper is paper that is impermeable to oil or grease and is normally used in cooking or food packaging. Normally greaseproof paper is produced by refining the paper stock and thus create a sheet with very low porosity. It’s used to wrap snack foods, cookies, candy bars, and other oily foods, a use that is being replaced by plastic films. In Australia, greaseproof paper is also referred to as SKAN Greaseproof

PARCHMENT / BAKING PAPER

They are used in baking as a disposable non-stick surface. They should not be confused with wax paper or waxed paper, which is paper that has been coated in wax.
